Stop by the Naturalist Office anytime between 11am and 4pm to grab a scavenger hunt. Head out on the trail of your choice or to the Natural Play Area to explore. Make sure to bring the hunt sheet back for a prize!

🎃Halloween Spooktacular

This year’s Halloween Spooktacular will be double the fun with two days of exciting, merry-not-scary family fun!

🗓 Friday, Oct. 15 @ 1-5 p.m.*

📍 Coffman Park, 5200 Emerald Pkwy

*The first 30 minutes will be sensory friendly. During this time, lights, sounds and wait times will be reduced to make the event more enjoyable for guests with sensory needs.

This is a free event, but complimentary timed tickets are required for the Trunk or Treat Trail. Time slots are available to reserve starting at 9 a.m. Oct. 11 online here: https://bit.ly/dublinhalloweenspooktacular

Guests of all ages can come in costume and enjoy this ghoulish celebration. New for 2021, the event will be spread out in the eastside of Coffman Park (5200 Emerald Pkwy), providing even more fun for everyone.

Saturday, October 16th, 10am-4pm Gallant Farm All ages Discover the machines that transformed farming forever. 🎃All Hallows Eve @ Ohio History Connection

Every Saturday in October

Sat., Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2021 • 5:30–9:30 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of 1890s-style family fun at All Hallows’ Eve, with a retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by the bonfire, pumpkin carving and strange characters roaming Ohio Village. Come revel in Victorian-era entertainment including fortune telling, crafts, games and more! 

+Hear from Haunted Ohio author Chris Woodyard (2 Saturdays only, (dates TBD) 

+Follow the lit pumpkin path to the amphitheater and watch for the ghostly apparition of the Headless Horseman, as our storyteller retells Washington Irving’s famous story 

+Take part in a 19th century masquerade party  

+Hear from the fascinating characters who roam Ohio Village and ask them about their All Hallows’ Eve celebrations 

+Explore the funeral parlor and learn about 19th century funeral practices  

New for 2021 

+Victorian Haunted pathway – strange encounters with haunting characters 

+Kids Activity area – hands on activities, crafts 

+New characters – Ohio Village Marshal, who is patrolling the town to cut down on pranks played by mischievous kids. 

+Explore our new Straw Maze, located behind the Ohio Village Pharmacy, and see if you can discover the path through! 

+Timed program on Fashions that Kill –This program will explore the dangerous cosmetics that went into fashion of the 19th century, and will tie that into mourning culture of the era. 

+Timed program on Mysterious Monsters of Ohio Lore -This 1st person presentation will feature a local explorer who has come to Ohio Village to share stories about all of the strange creatures he’s encountered in his travels, especially those he’s found in Ohio. He even has a unique specimen, the Chillicothe Skyfoogle, to show off!
