Alum Creek Beach Trifecta📚🧗🏻♂️🚢
3305 S Old State Rd. Delaware
Take a little vacation for the day! A new story trail, nature inspired playground and an old boat. Oh, and it’s at a beach. My girls enjoyed all it had to offer and were worn out after, Mom-win!
I love storybook trails! It let’s me get a little workout(kids too) while also educating about nature. The book is ‘In the Trees, Honey Bees’ by Lori Mortensen. If you haven’t experienced one yet, you should! Besides the story, it also has interactive questions along the way.
I love the nature inspired playgrounds. This park is like a baby between Rocky Fork Park in Westerville and the Shops of Worthington Place Treehouse Playground. I thought the sand would make it super hard to navigate, but it wasn’t bad.
👍🏻Wishbone balance beam
🧗🏻♂️Rocks with rope climbing
🙌🏼Swings for all abilities
🌳Playset with slide, log stepping stones, ladder and steps.
My girls spent more time on this boat than
The other play space. They have big imaginations and loved walking the plank, argh! There are also swings beside.
In case you want to see these play spaces…
