Ohio Cup Vintage Base Ball Festival @Ohio History Connection
Saturday September 4 and Sunday, September 5 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. each day.
More than 25 vintage baseball teams, including the Ohio Village Muffins, will participate in the weekend
festival and some travel as far as Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Minnesota and Missouri.
The two-day festival is one of the largest gatherings of vintage base ball teams in the country.
Ohio Cup is family friendly. There will be food trucks, activities and create-and-take crafts such ice cream
demos, make your own Muffin puppet and baseball pennant, and a historic sporting outfits costume
show. Kids can even try their hand at an 1860s-style base ball game of their own on the town green
with help from some of the Ohio Village Muffins and Ohio Village Diamonds (Ohio Village’s women’s
team).

Rotary Family Picnic @Thomas Worthington High School

The Rotary Family Picnic is back this Labor Day weekend! Postponed from July 4th, the Family Picnic brings Supergames, food trucks, vendors and more to the Worthington community for a day full of family fun. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and join your neighbors for the picnic and activities on the front lawn of Thomas Worthington High School. This annual community event is presented by the Dublin Worthington Rotary Club.
If you’re looking for family fun over the Labor Day weekend, check out the Rotary Family Picnic on Sunday, Sept. 5, for games, activities and yummy food to enjoy.
The event, on the front lawn of Thomas Worthington High School, 300 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., features giant inflatable SuperGames, activities by area scouting troops, Toy Barn classic cars, music and food. It will be held from 3pm to 7pm. Admission is free.
WDLR 1550 AM 92.9 FM will broadcast live from the event with DJ Bob Allen playing Ohio’s best classic hits from the 70s and 80s and more.
A number of food and specialty-treat trucks will be on hand. Rotarians will also sell hot dogs, beverages and Dairy Queen ice cream treats. Families may bring their own picnic food and refreshments along with lawn chairs and blankets.
In its 16th year, the event is hosted by the Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club. FCBank is the presenting sponsor. Proceeds are used to fund Rotary service projects, helping youth and their families in the Worthington and Dublin communities.
COVID-19 precautions will be in place for all attendees. Masks are recommended for children and unvaccinated persons. Social distancing markers will be placed at SuperGame activity entrances, and hand sanitizer stations will be available.

Over 15 food truck vendors providing great food and treats to enjoy.
An adapted Art Activities Area to allow for social distancing while creating a one of a kind work of art.
Community Booths highlighting non profit organizations in Upper Arlington and surrounding areas.
