Gift of Music – August 28-29, September 4-5 – The Gift of Music is a music instrument drive organized by the Columbus Music Commission. Spanning two weekends, folks can drop of their used instruments collecting dust in their attics or garages to more than 10 curb-side drop-off locations around central Ohio. The instruments will be donated to central Ohio students to ensure they have access to music education. HERE for more info.

Powell Community Summer Concert Series

The traditional Powell Festival will be held as a three-part summer concert series instead of a one-time annual weekend of festivities this year. The concert series will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 25, July 30 and Aug. 27 on the McClurg Properties Stage in Village Green Park, 47 Hall Street.
Concerts will be held in collaboration with the Downtown Powell Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA).

We start the day with the Rose Run 5K at 8AM, then have the new Rose Run Park dedication at 10:30AM, then the Dr. Glyde A. Marsh Founders Day Parade starting at 11AM, and then our festival with rides, vendors, and food.
