☣️Household Hazerdous Waste Collection

The City of Westerville’s Spring Household Hazardous Waste Collection is Saturday, May 14 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 350 Park Meadow Rd. (enter from Schrock Road, entry will not be permitted from South Knox Street/Parkview Avenue). Please note that shredding services will NOT be offered at this event. 

This is a popular, drive-thru event. Please plan for extra time.

🍎The Market at Rickenbacker Woods

Saturday, 9 am-1 pm

The Market at Rickenbacker Woods is a NEW outdoor shopping experience located on the grounds of the Historic Rickenbacker House. The event will be held every 2nd Saturday from 9am – 1pm Starting April 9th through October 8th.

Each market date will have over 40 vendors with everything from clothing, home decor, self care items and bakery treats! There will also be a food truck on site.

Listen to stories, learn about how plants grow, and plant some seeds for your garden. First come first serve. Outside if weather permits. Ages 4-7.

🌻For Families-Wildflower Hike

Saturday, 2 pm

Join the naturalist on a 1.5 mile hike to look for flowers along both river and field. Tick season is here so bugspray and long pants are advised. Trails may be muddy.

Meeting location: River Bluff Area (8400 Olentangy River Road) River Bluff is a separate entrance from the main park and cannot be accessed from the main park area. River Bluff is located off of Rte 315.  No restrooms, water fountains or trash cans are available at this location, please plan accordingly. Naturalist will meet you near the bulletin board. 

Meeting location notes: Dragonfly Day Camp . Dragonfly Day Camp is a separate entrance from the main part of the park. The Day Camp is located at 685 Powell Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035. Once you enter the Daycamp, we will meet in front of the pavilion.

🎥Saturday Cinema

On Saturday, May 14th, Destination Downtown Lancaster will be showing Disney Pixar’s SOUL on the square (by the bandstand). Come early to save your space, enjoy music, and participate in pre movie activities starting at 7:30pm.

Bring blankets, chairs, and snacks and enjoy this family film under the stars in our beautiful downtown . The movie will begin at dusk.
