Wow, I’m impressed from our first class! There were so many positive things, that I am going to post once a week through our 6 week journey in the ‘Lurking Colors’ class.
💕Ages 1-21, of all abilities. I love the sense of community and acceptance. Our world needs so much more of this and I’m happy to share with my girls.
🎨The appreciation of art. The first art project is a monster plant holder made from a coffee can and applesauce containers. Layered with ortho cast strips. These are legit art pieces!
🎶Fun songs with dancing ribbons, spiders for ‘There’s a spider on the floor’ and tactile monsters on a board for ‘No more Monsters jumping on the bed’. The combination of these techniques help to increase spatial awareness and build fine/gross motor skills.
👩🏼🏫Last but not least is the teacher, Dawn. She is very welcoming and really gets to know each child individually. The energy she creates and the animated fun that is transferred to the kids is phenomenal.
