Meet Columbus For Kids
Ashley Liles

❝After having my second daughter, I made the leap to become a stay at home mom. The time flew by with my first daughter and I felt like I was missing out on a lot of firsts. I knew I couldn’t get that time back. The time on the weekends were way too fast, and I wanted more time with her.

It was a huge change for me, as I have practically worked my entire life, starting at the DQ in the village of Frazeysburg at 15 years old. I worked 3 jobs to pay for college at OU Zanesville, and then started working in my professional career.

I knew once I made the decision to become a stay at home mom that I wanted to build something for myself. I just didn’t know what that was. If you are a Mom, you know that it is easy to lose your sense of self. Don’t get me wrong, I love being a Mom and all that comes with it, but finding a little ‘me’ time is a hard thing to do.

After talking with so many parents who don’t have the time to find places, I decided to do the legwork for them. I had so many places to share it was impossible to tell them in one conversation at a playground.

I’m a #local frugal mama who wants to help your family be healthy by providing fun activities incorporated with nature and diverse learning #experiences. @Cbus4kids brings together my #adventures with the girls, my love of photography, fills my cup of helping other moms in #Columbus, and I am also building skills along the way that will fill the gap in my resume.❞
