Emily Traphagen Preserve 🧗♀️
5094 Seldom Seen Rd. Powell
A park surrounded by nature makes you feel calmer and is a great break to the daily hustle. This park seems small but has a lot to explore and discover.
💕Two play areas for 2-5 and 5 and older
👦🏻The smaller play area features a telescope, regular steps, block steps, a nature climber, double slide, a tunnel underneath, a rocking horse and a smaller rick to climb and sit on
👱🏼♀️The larger play area has steps, a ladder, climbing wall and a natural leaf ladder inside the tree house to climb into the tree house
🙌🏻Other features include a balance beam, steep and fast slide that slows before the kids reach the split end(easier to get off the slide), telescope, monkey bar, rings and pull up bar, a detached ring climbing feature and a detached twisty slide
🧗♀️A large rock climbing rock to free climb and sit at the top
💪🏻A Natural Play area to create an arch, create a house or just test your strength
👣A tunnel to explore under the natural bridge
🌼The spring flowers are beautiful around the natural play area, when they bloom
🕶3 regular swings and a baby swing will keep those warmer days cool
🐸Very walkable short paths for younger kids, the pond overlook is short and fun to explore
🐜Two picnic tables close to the play area and a picnic pavilion across the field
