🥚Easton Egg Hunt

Follow scavenger hunt clues to 10 eggs outside of the stores at Easton.

🐸Stop by Highlands Wetlands (245 S. Spring Rd.) from 7:30-8:30 p.m. this Friday, April 15 for “Frog Friday.” Families will learn about wetland habitats and critters before exploring the area. Remember to bring a net and a flashlight! https://bit.ly/3E9Joyu

Have fun with early literacy in the park! These 30-40min programs are aimed at kids 2-5yrs. Children and their grownups will enjoy books, rhymes, songs and fun while arousing curiosity about the natural world.

🧹Alum Creek Greenway Cleanup

Saturday 9 am-12:30 pm

Help celebrate Earth Month: volunteer to clear trash litter from off roadsides, creek banks, trail & parkland areas near the Alum Creek. This area is adopted by FACT through Keep Columbus Beautiful. Wear sturdy shoes and long sleeves. Bring gloves or we will have some to borrow. Meet up at north side parking lot of Academy Park, 276 S. Nelson Rd in Columbus, near the Alum Creek Trail suspension bridge.

🥚Easter Egg Hunt @ Wyman Woods

Come out to Wyman Woods Park for our traditional Easter Egg Hunt! The Hunt begins at 10:00 am SHARP so arrive early and enjoy visiting the Easter Bunny, free coffee from Contrast Church, and yummy donuts and cookies sponsored by Pathways Financial Credit Union and Dedicated Senior Care.

🥚GPS Egg Hunt

Saturday, 10 am-2 pm

Enjoy a non-traditional and high tech Easter egg hunt. We’ll teach you how to use a GPS unit to find plastic eggs hidden in the park. Find 4 or more eggs, record the secret picture from each egg and earn a prize! 

Note: Please leave your baskets, bags, etc at home. In this non-traditional hunt, eggs are not being collected and will instead be left in place for everyone to find throughout the program. You will stamp your paper with a unique stamper found within each egg to “collect” that egg.

🐶Spring Hike with your dog

Saturday, 1 pm

Explore all that spring has to offer with your canine friend! Stops along the way for dog water breaks and treats.

Meeting location notes: Big Meadows Picnic Area Big Meadows picnic area is at the back of the park. After you enter the park, take the main road down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, take the ROAD on the LEFT. Park in the lot with a playground. Meet near restrooms.

🥚New Albany Springfest Egg Hunt

Presented by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce, the New Albany Springfest Egg Hunt is held Saturday, April 16, 2022, 4:30pm – 7:00pm at the New Albany High School Football Stadium.

This free family event includes a helicopter egg drop at 5:00pm followed by an egg hunt by age group (bring your own basket). Kid’s activities include photo selfie stations, face painters, balloon twisters, caricature artists, bubble station, petting zoo and more! Food and beverages available for purchase from food trucks.

Doors open at 4:30pm, so come early so you have time to park and do not miss your child’s egg hunt time!  Please do not enter the field before your child’s age group time is announced.

🥚Find the Golden Egg @ Highbanks Metro Parks

You’re never too old for an egg hunt! This Sunday, between 2-5 pm, search for a golden egg hidden along the Dripping Rock (no pets please) or Multi-use (pet & stroller friendly) trail at Highbanks. If you find the egg, LOOK, but DON’T TOUCH, and remember the secret code. Stop by the nature center for a candy prize.

1 egg will be hidden on the Dripping Rock trail, and 1 egg will be hidden on the Multi-use Trail. Your choice of where to hike. Please leave the egg where you find it so other people can enjoy the hunt!

Please be careful of the spring wildflowers while searching.
