👱🏻‍♀️Free Women’s Self-Defense Workshop @ Pataskala Martial Arts Quest, LLC

This workshop is open to ages 10 and up.

We will look at some of the most common assaults against women in modern society and ways to defend against those attacks.

If you have specific concerns or fears, please message us about them and we can prepare our best response for you.

The last half hour is open to questions and answers, so if something comes to mind during the workshop you can still have your questions answered.

At the end of the workshop we will have a drawing for a free month of martial arts training!

Come and test your climbing skills at a fun, but challenging, climbing competition being held during Scioto Fest at Scioto Audubon Metro Park! Climbers will sign in as beginner, intermediate, or advanced when they arrive at the climbing wall and will be scored based on the difficulty of the routes they climb in their brackets and how many falls they take.  Equipment and belayers will not be provided, please provide your own.  Top rope climbing. Free to register and participate!

👮🏿‍♂️2019 Cops & Kids Day

Bring the family to explore police cruisers, helicopters, motorcycles and other law enforcement equipment on Sunday, September 15during Cops & Kids Day. 

More than 40 agencies from Central Ohio will gather on County Line Road from 12-4 p.mto bring fun activities to kids of all ages. Food trucks will also be available at the Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave., adjacent to the festival. 

Be sure to come early, the first 1,500 children will receive a free giveaway!

🐯Be My Neighbor Day

Join WOSU Public Media, along with PNC Grow Up Great and Moms2B, for Daniel Tiger’s Be My Neighbor Day—a day of family fun at the Columbus Commons. 

Meet Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat from “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” on PBS Kids, design a welcome card for a new baby, and enjoy activities like face painting, open play, sidewalk chalk art, and free carousel rides!

The event is free to attend, but we ask all guests who are able to bring an item to donate to Moms2B who will be on-site filling diaper bags for new moms in need. 

Suggested items to donate:

• Baby and mother personal care items 

• Diaper cream

• Baby brushes/combs

• Bottles

• Bibs

• Burp cloths 

• Wash cloths / towels

• Infant sleepers / Infant toys

• Onesies / newborn size outfits
