Our Commons for Kids series brings families from Central Ohio to the heart of Downtown Columbus, Friday mornings between June 7 and August 9. Each week, a variety of activities keeps the kids entertained, including inflatables, face painting, crafts and much more!

Come share your love of the great outdoors and let your Girl Scout and her bestie discover the magic of nature and its wonders. Girl Scouts LOVE State Parks and now is your chance to show it! 

Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be hosting Girl Scouts at Hocking Hills State Park on Saturday, July 13, and at Alum Creek State park on Sunday July 14! If you are unable to make it to either of these parks — don’t worry! There will be a DIY option so you can earn your Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch at every state park in Ohio!\

🎼Westerville Music & Arts Festival @ Everal Barn

The Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the 46th Annual Westerville Music & Arts Festival will take place July 13 & 14, 2019 at picturesque Heritage Park in historic Westerville.

The cost is $1 to attend. Kids 10 & under are free.

This year’s headliner will be The Reaganomics on Saturday, July 13, 2019 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Craft beers from North High Brewing and Rhinegeist on tap beginning at 5 p.m. and food trucks will be available.

Westerville Parks & Recreation’s Summer Jazz Series will share our Westerville Middlefield Bank Everal Barn Stage as the URBAN JAZZ COALITION plays at 5:30 p.m.

Want to find crawdads like this one, along with other creek critters? Join us Saturday from 10-12 or 1-3 for a creeking program! We will meet at the Alum Creek Lake US Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center (5905 Lewis Center Rd) and then drive to the trail head near the marina. It’s about a five minute hike out to the spot. Please wear shoes and clothes that can get wet and muddy!

The Topiary Park is located at 480 East Town Street in downtown Columbus. In the event of rain, all activities will be held inside the Columbus Metropolitan Library, adjacent to The Topiary Park, at 96 S. Grant Avenue in downtown Columbus.
