Sounds of the Season is a program where local schools, organizations, dance groups and singers can spread holiday cheer for all to hear.

Performances will take place every hour on the Lower Level by the Play Area on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th from 10:30 AM – 7 PM.

🎄Free Festive Fridays at Columbus Commons

Enjoy the festive lights at Columbus Commons from November 22 through January 5, EVERY DAY from dusk until to 11 pm. Stop by after a Downtown dinner to see more than 400,000 LED lights dazzle in the park, thanks to our wonderful partnership with the AEP Foundation.

To sweeten the deal, Fridays from 5pm to 8pm in December will be a little extra festive, with free hot chocolate and carousel rides. Plus, you’ll hear the music of the season with musicians roaming around the park. You can find that extra bit of holiday cheer on these dates:

🐴Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides @ Strand Theater

Every December Friday evening leading up to Christmas, enjoy a free horse-drawn carriage ride around downtown Delaware. Cozy up with your family and enjoy the festive sights of downtown. Carriage pick-up location will be in front of The Strand Theatre.

A minimum donation of $1 per person over the age of 5, cash only.

Get ready for Christmas carols- American Sign Language style!

We’re Signs of Christmas, a non-profit group who performs (well… signs) Christmas carols in the Columbus area every holiday season. Our mission is to spread deaf and hard-of-hearing awareness through the beauty of America Sign Language. 

During your holiday shopping at Easton Mall, take a break to hear some of your favorite holiday tunes, dance, and perhaps learn some fun Christmas signs.

🌲Christmas in the Gardens @ Hoover Gardens

The first 3 weekends in December, we will be serving hot chocolate & cookies, painting ornaments and visiting with the Grinch! Activities begin at 10, with the Grinch visiting from 11-4. Parents can enjoy extra discounts on all the beautiful indoor Christmas items on display. Also check out the beautiful arrangements of fresh greens, trees, poinsettias, Christmas cactus and so much more. Pets are always welcome in our establishment, and the Grinch is happy to pose with them as well!!

🎅🏻Visits with Santa @ Ohio Herb Center

Join us the first two Saturdays in December to see our favorite jolly old elf.  The Ohio Herb Center is the perfect place to get your cherished holiday pictures taken with the big guy!  After your pictures, make and take home some festive treats.  Then visit the gift shop where you can do some shopping while you wait for your photos.  There is no better way to get into the holiday spirit.  

PARKING:  Coming to see Santa on December 14? Note that South Mill St. will be CLOSED in the morning for the Santa Race 5K. We suggest that you enter the Creekside District from the North (Cherry Bottom Rd. or E. Johnstown Rd.) and park in one of these locations: (a) The Creekside Parking garage (N. Mill St.), (2) the public parking lot at the corner of Town & High Streets, or (3) Jefferson Elementary School.

❄️Winter Light Hike @ Alley Park Lancaster

Bundle up for one last look at all the Christmas lights at Alley Park.  Take a self guided hike through the hoops and around Lake Loretta after dark.   Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and take a peek at the tree inside the nature center before heading home.  6-8 PM
