7 Best Toddler Parks-East-ish Side
A few readers have asked for suggestions on toddler playgrounds. So I thought I would share our favorites on the East-ish side of Columbus. Click the links to see more pictures and details.
Towers Park
This is a great park for younger kids, and also has climbing features and swings for the older kids. The little houses are adorable and have lots of play features. There is partial shade which was a nice perk for the little ones.

Woodside Green Park
A nice park with mature shade trees. A super new natural play area. A beautiful pond and a nice little play set. A natural play area with little houses, giant pipes to climb in and lots of ropes to climb.

Rocky Fork Metro Park
This was a nice surprise for a more natural playground. It’s surrounded by woods and it truly takes you away from the hustle and bustle. Roller slide for the win!

Alum Creek Park North
We love the shade at this park and the variety of activities available. A large train to play on and in as well as swings for all abilities.

Hoff Woods Park
This was a nice surprise, two newer playsets in one for varying ages. A dinosaur can also be spotted at this park, as well as a little play house for imaginative play. We loved the nature feel to this playground.

Thompson Park
A smaller park in New Albany, but worth a visit while you’re in the area. It’s a rainbow explosion with bursts of color. The playground has climbing, sliding, and game playing.
