We made healthy apple butter, per my oldest daughter’s request. The girl is a bit addicted! She likes it on bread, in peas, and to dip her sweet potato fries in.
1. Peel/core apples until crockpot is filled
2. Add 3/4 cup water, 1 cup honey, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, dash of salt, and a splash of lemon juice
3. Cook on 10 hour setting until it bubbles and stir until slightly chunky and turn crockpot off
